4 Life Agreements

The De Toltec Path is my way because it has no rules and no beliefs to subscribe to be a “good Toltec” or “belong” to a group. What the Toltec has given me is to be aware and to transform ancient beliefs that I have taken up on the path of life… If they don`t serve my happiness. “In him was life, and life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness; and darkness did not understand. We have to break many old arrangements and change a lot of domesticated beliefs to really keep a space for someone who hurts us or who is angry without judging to withdraw, defend, accuse, intellectualize, share their dream. The Four Agreements: A Practical Guide to Personal Freedom is a self-help book by best-selling author Don Miguel Ruiz with Janet Mills. The book proposes a code of conduct based on the ancient wisdom of Toltec, which advocates the freedom of self-limiting beliefs that can cause suffering and limitations in a person`s life. I like what you`re saying. If you`ve written a book about your spontaneous chords, I`ll read it.

I interpreted “is” as living in the present and “was” the representation of past behaviors. Tension change probably intentionally. The best way to develop knowledge is to bypass other evaluations and read the material and develop your own knowledge. Because I also look at topics in relation to me My opinion is that we all get something different from any book, based on completely different emotional reactions, based on the observations of a group that reads all four chords at the same time. There were about 50 of them, and I recommended it to a brother and sister who had a childhood trauma. He read the first chapters in tears, but he understood the healing power in himself. The first one only me off, but I understood that he was drawing why we shouldn`t believe that way. Be immaculate with your word. Don`t take anything personal.

Don`t make any assumptions. Always do your best. The light and the truth. PS: It doesn`t matter if this wisdom comes directly from a culture of 2000 years ago. Make it your own and transform your life! Thank you for your thoughts, Coleen. I think your decision not to get caught up in right-wing arguments is wise. If we are all artists, if we are artists through the interpretations of the world we create, then the judgments of law/false simply do not apply to our art. A painting of a tree is not the same as a tree, but we would not describe such an interpretive painting as “false” or “lie”. The same goes for our artistic interpretations of life. Each of us creates a story that is true to us, and I think it is good to respect each other`s stories.

One of the most important teachings of wisdom in the Toltec tradition is that we all dream — to dream of a unique vision and experience of the universe. It`s at the beginning of “The Four Accords,” and my experience is that a lot of people slip into that part and go to the chords. In the first part of this 2-part video, we learn how the “domestication” of men and how all the rules and values of our family and society are imposed on us by a system of punishment and reward. As young children, our true nature is to love and be happy, to explore and enjoy life; We are absolutely authentic. But then we learn to be what others think we should, and because it`s not normal that we are who we are, we start pretending we`re not what we`re not. When we are teenagers, we have learned to judge ourselves, to punish ourselves and to reward ourselves after agreements that we have never chosen. The four agreements help us break self-limitation agreements and replace them with agreements that bring us freedom, happiness and love. I`m on the third book and I understand the concepts because they explain much of the method I learned to create change.
